General framework of the FAO Guidance

The draft General framework of the FAO Guidance will be available for comments and feedback on this platform from 7 February until 7 April 2025 (23:59 CET). Comments and feedback should be submitted via this platform in order to facilitate the analysis.

Members are encouraged to submit their inputs through the online platform. 

As a courtesy, this draft dcoument has been translated into the six UN languages; however, these translations are not official.

The FAO Guidance is structured in a general framework and six sector-specific sections covering the different stages of the fisheries and aquaculture value chains: (1) Industrial Fishing, (2) Small-Scale Fishing, (3) Aquaculture Production, (4) Processing, (5) Distribution, and (6) Retailing.
